What is the Black Belt Club?

Acceptance into the Black Belt Club gives students the incentive to renew their commitment to Black Belt.
The Black Belt Club is a special two and a half year membership designed to give the ultimate Martial Arts training experience to students who have Black Belt as a goal. Members of this prestigious program receive many benefits:


Elite Membership, A Special Black Uniform, A Black Belt Club Patch, A Membership Certificate, A Discount On Equipment, School Sponsored Events, and also participation in extra classes each month.

The only way students can qualify for the Black Belt Club (B.B.C.) is through a recommendation from one of the instructors. The recommendation is based on effort, attitude, character, and willingness to do the best they can to follow the tenets of the Martial Arts. Each student must have the following:

1. At least six months experience in Martial Arts
2. A good attendance record
3. Consistently good academic grades (2.5 or better)
4. A positive attitude in class, at home, and towards others

In addition to these things listed above, they must possess a good report in conduct and attitude from parents and all teachers at school. They must be willing to set new and definitive goals in their study of Martial Arts.

Overall, the objective of the B.B.C is to help its members attain their personal best. In Martial Artists, emphasis is placed on skill and technique, and we always strive to develop our personal skills in order to grow in a well rounded fashion. The B.B.C.’s endeavor to further cultivate one’s character will surely enhance a student’s ability to become more successful in other areas of life.



TEAM XS

TEAM XS is the Demonstration Team for XS Martial Arts DoJo. TEAM XS performs karate, kickboxing and weapons demonstrations for schools, community centers, social organizations and sports teams.
Team XS has performed for The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club at both their annual picnic and Night Out Against Crime. TEAM XS will also perform at halftime during a New Orleans Hornets Home Game this season.
TEAM XS Members consist of members of our Black Belt Club.
