Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Ma-KiBo-Karate Do
MA-KIBO-KARATE-DO® (The way of Martial Arts through Kick Boxing and Karate) – is a martial arts fighting system created by Sensei Jason B. Horne “X”. The fighting system is a combination of Shoto Kan (Japanese Style), Tae Kwon Do (Korean Style), American Freestyle Kickboxing, and Ground Fighting. This system is designed to give XS Martial Arts Dojo Students a variety of tools to use to defend themselves. The system is taught in a non traditional style, and this is the reason our dojo is different from some KARATE SCHOOLS. We constantly alternate between the styles through out our curriculum, and this is one of the largest benefits our school. Our students learn the fierce/hard techniques of the Shoto Kan style; the high kicks and agility of the Tae Kwon Do style; the stamina, constant movement, pound-for-pound techniques of the Kick Boxer; and the cunning and joint manipulation of the Ground Fighter.

Little Dragons Program
When you have a pre-schooler in the house you soon learn that they are energetic, always on the move and curious about everything. You want to encourage them to be active but there are few programs available to pre-schoolers that are more than supervised play-time.

But what if there was a program for your young child, one that not only kept them active but also taught them Life Skills, like:
- following instructions
- listening and concentrating
- self-discipline
- physical agility and coordination

My name is Sensei Horne and I am the chief instructor of XS Martial Arts Dojo. My staff and I have developed a highly successful program designed to teach 4 – 6 year olds these very life skills. It is called the “Little Dragons” Program.

When creating this program we realized early on that in order to teach 4 – 6 year olds you need to capture their attention and imagination. That’s what makes karate the ideal tool to use to teach life skills to children – they are intrigued by the techniques of karate and are eager to imitate the actions of the instructor. Our instructors know this and therefore model not only good karate form but also good focus, concentration, respect, manners and discipline.

The key is a structured environment

From the moment your child attends a class you will begin to see how the Little Dragons’ Program is able to make a difference with our students. Every moment of their time has been thought out and planned ahead by the instructor so that the students are guided through each stage of learning. Your child will begin to show real confidence as they start to learn and practice the various blocks, punches and kicks under the direct supervision of our instructors. Because the classes are grouped by age, they are training with students near to their physical and emotional level. Each class your child will be lead through a series of activities and drills designed to develop focus and concentration, lessons that encourage listening skills and team work. And of course the karate instruction is great for improving physical development, balance, agility and strength. Combine all this with our unique home study pages and you have a formula that works!

After School Program
After School Program
Nothing for your child to do after school? Parents, start your child's life on the right path and enroll them into XS Martial Arts Dojo After School Program. Have our van pick your child up from school and bring them to our location.

Our educationally based program is held during Fall and Spring Semester from 3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. Our program will strenghten their bodies and develop their minds. Your child will get the tutoring he/she needs while completing homework assignments, help those learn balance, endurance and coordination during martial arts classes. Our program will inspire your child to make good grades, exercise daily, meet new friends and make you proud. No other after school program will prepare them to become successful at home, build self-confidence or the "Yes I Can" positive winning attitude than XSMAD.

Cardio Kickboxing


Classes are held Mon thru Thurs 7:00pm - 7:45pm

This four-day-per-week program combines the best of aerobics and personal training to get you in shape. This workout program is motivating, challenging, and guaranteed to increase your fitness to get your ready. Come relieve stress and get fit at the same time! Learn simple no-contact kick-boxing punches, blocks, kicks and combos; improve your balance and body awareness; burn calories and tone your body in this fun and refreshing class!

So get out there and jab, punch, and kick your way to fitness. Our training style is fun, energetic, safe and effective; with a focus on teaching people to move in a more fluid, athletic manner. This focus will improve your performance in your everyday activities.

Black Belt Club
The Black Belt Club is a special three-year membership designed to give the ultimate Martial Arts training experience to students who have Black Belt as a goal. B.B.C. members receive benefits that range from discounted memberships to special uniforms and patches to a discount on supplies and school sponsored events.
To become a B.B.C. member each student needs at least six months experience in the Martial Arts and must recommended by the instructor.
